Are there Sundance 2027 badge-holder discounts?

No Longmont badge-holder discount has been published yet. Here is the programme that exists, and how to find the businesses taking part.

The programme that exists

Visit Longmont’s Get Involved page is aimed at Longmont businesses and lists three routes, one of which is discounts for badge holders — a promotion offered to anyone wearing a festival badge. The other two are the Grub Stub staff and volunteer meal voucher programme, and in-kind donations.

Businesses sign up through a Sundance Film Festival Business Interest Form linked from that page. Crucially, Visit Longmont does not publish who has signed up. So even where businesses have opted in, there is no public list.

The Boulder Chamber route

Separately, the Boulder Chamber runs an “Official Friend of Sundance Film Festival” programme open to any Colorado business or nonprofit. Accepted businesses get a window cling, the title, a marketing toolkit, a listing on festival websites and first-come tickets to selected screenings. The Chamber has said decisions are rolling out in waves.

A window cling is the practical upshot: during festival week, the sticker in the door may be the most reliable indicator you get.

What to do with this

• Ask at the till. With no published list, asking is genuinely the best method, and a badge is easy to show.
• Do not confuse it with the Winter Passport. The “Winter Passport Participant” tag on some Downtown Longmont listings is the LDDA’s holiday programme, with entries due January 3. It finishes before the festival starts.
• Check back. If discounts are announced, they go in our local guide against the business, dated.
