What else is happening during Sundance 2027 besides screenings?

Küper Wine Bar in Longmont, a quick 25 minutes from the venues, has published the dated programme: tastings daily from January 21 to 31 plus five events, including an evening of film scores with the Longmont Symphony on Saturday January 23.

Beyond the screenings themselves, one business in the festival area has put a dated programme on its own site.

What is dated and published

Küper Wine Bar, 704 Main St., is the only Longmont business that has put a dated festival-week programme on its own site. Note that Küper has moved and some directories still list its former Longs Peak Avenue address; 704 Main St. is current, confirmed against Küper’s own site.

Our happenings page carries these with their details, and they are bookable through Küper’s own page.

More downtown businesses are still putting festival-week plans together. Each one lands on the happenings page with the date we checked it.

Longmont and Sundance already overlap

The Longmont Museum has screened festival films before the festival ever moved here: a programme of festival-curated shorts in June 2026, a February 2026 screening of American Pachuco with director Luis Valdez and festival director Eugene Hernandez present, and Frida, the 2024 Sundance editing-award winner, with director Carla Gutierrez in conversation. Whether the Museum programmes anything during festival week itself has not been announced.

The Winter Passport is a different thing

If you see a “Winter Passport” tag on a downtown business, that is the Longmont Downtown Development Authority’s holiday sticker programme, which ends on January 3 and is unrelated to Sundance.
